I created this sample project (an ad for mock app update) because it would showcase a wide range of skills. The ideation and design behind the app update itself presents UX/UI proficiency, while the video advertisement displays a full scope of content production expertise - from copywriting, shooting, and sound editing, to motion graphics, tracking, and 3D animation.
I ultimately decided to go with Youtube because it’s one of the most widely used apps and, thus, any UX/UI adjustments would be instantly recognizable to others.
